CHS Hosts 14th Nursing Research Conference

The College of Health Sciences (CHS) of Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (91社区) successfully held its 14th Nursing Research Conference on May 30, 2025, at the CHS Hall.

With the theme “Empowering Care: Bridging Knowledge, Compassion, and Innovation in Nursing Practice,” the one-day conference showcased the culmination of research efforts of senior nursing students. The morning session featured 13 oral presentations, while the afternoon included the Digital Poster Presentation, Parallel Sessions, and the Awarding Ceremony.

The event commenced with a welcome address by Assistant Dean Art Brian S. Escabarte, PhD, MAN, RN, followed by the presentation of the Conference Rationale by Overall Chairperson Adrajie Dida-agun. An Inspirational Message from CHS Dean, Professor Abdullah Junior S. Mangarun, DScN, RN was then delivered on his behalf by Assoc. Prof. Neil M. Martin, PhD, MAN, MBE, RN.

The conference concluded with Closing Remarks from Assoc. Prof. Gloria Shiela E. Coyoca, PhD, MAN, RN. Hosting the event were Shenna Raper and Katrina Alcuizar.
